Pelargonium Sidoides, also known in traditional African medicine as umckaloabo, kaloba, or umcka, is an indigenous South African plant that is shown to reduce the duration and severity of the common cold. It is used in traditional medicine to treat lung infections. Pelargonium Sidoides help boost the immune system and fight infection. Ginger has been shown to have antioxidant and antibacterial properties. Menthol has traditionally been used for it’s anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. Peppermint oil has traditionally been used for the relief of coughs and colds.
